About

Combining artistic and therapeutic perspectives

I counsel people at the intersection of the therapeutic relationship, artistic expression, and systemic thinking.

My work draws on art therapy, humanistic psychology, systems theory, resource-oriented approaches, and trauma-informed practices.

For me, the key isn’t to use as many methods as possible but to work together to determine what is helpful and sustainable at that moment.

Art · Therapy · Relationship

When words can’t say it all.

VertrauensKunst offers a safe, professional space where conversation and artistic expression can open up different ways to perceive, understand, and make sense of experiences.

You don’t need to be able to draw, create anything specific, or already know how you want to talk about your request.

VertrauensKunst

A space for self-expression—even beyond words

Some experiences are easy to talk about. Others initially manifest themselves more as a feeling, a physical reaction, inner tension, a memory, an image, or something for which there aren’t yet any suitable words.

At VertrauensKunst, conversation and artistic expression can go hand in hand. You help decide which approach feels most helpful in the moment.

Trust grows when art connects.

Support

Areas where VertrauensKunst can provide support therapeutic guidance

01

Distressing Experiences

When experiences have lasting effects, are difficult to make sense of, or resurface from time to time.

02

Anxiety & Inner Tension

When anxiety, restlessness, or tension interfere with daily life and a sense of safety.

03

Depression & Withdrawal

When energy, a sense of connection, or access to one’s own needs seems to have been lost.

04

Dissoziation & Überforderung

When closeness, distance, body awareness, or internal states are difficult to regulate.

05

Neurodiversity

When perception, sensory processing, attention, or self-regulation require a more personal approach.

06

Relationships & Self-Concept

When recurring patterns, experiences with attachment, or questions about one’s own history need space.

A diagnosis is not required to make an initial inquiry.

Artistic expression

Art doesn’t have to prove anything here.

At VertrauensKunst, art therapy does not involve evaluating images or interpreting them according to a fixed system of symbols.

Rather, color, form, material, movement, and image can open up additional possibilities for perceiving something, externalizing it, creating distance, or cautiously approaching an experience.

Occasionally an image emerges. Sometimes it’s just a line, a trace, an arrangement of materials, or nothing visible. That can be part of the process, too.
